Mindful Us

Fostering Mindful Communities

InterChange is a visual representation of how practicing mindfulness helps not only the coins-912720_1920person practicing but continues through a “pay it forward” effect. We are interconnected and interdependent with each other. When one person does a positive action (like practicing mindfulness) it affects us all. By participating in InterChange you are showing how just a small action can make a huge change. Be the change you want to see in the world!

See the video for more information:

Directions: When you, your family, or your organization does at least one minute of mindfulness each person puts a penny in a shared container. Have a discussion about what charity or charities you want to donate the money to helping. Then count the money (this can be weekly, monthly or yearly) and log the information in the InterChange Log (link below). When you are ready- donate the money and be the change.

(Clarification Statement: InterChange is not about me or Possibilities Exist making money. There is no fee to participate. This is simply a way for you as individuals, families, and organizations to be encouraged to do mindfulness and to create a representation of the impact it has not only on your lives but on the lives of other people. As we progress I will post graphs showing the amount of people and the amount of money that has been donated by people over time. Although I call InterChange a program I envision it more as a community of practitioners working together and encouraging each other to keep up the good work. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.)
